Terms of Service

1. Definitions and interpretation
These Terms define the relationship between you and With Light Pty Ltd (ABN: 99 680 530 936) when using the SupportSwipe mobile application. "App" means the SupportSwipe mobile application, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. "Support Worker" or "Worker" means an individual registered on the App to create a profile and match with Provider Organisation Listings. "Provider Organisation" or "Provider" means an organisation registered on the App to post Listings and match with Support Workers. "Match" occurs when both a Support Worker and a Provider Organisation swipe right on each other.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By registering for an Account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. To use the App, you must be at least 18 years of age, have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and provide accurate and complete registration information. Support Workers must ensure credentials displayed on their Profile are current and accurate. Provider Organisations must be legally registered businesses in Australia. We may update these Terms with at least 30 days written notice.
3. Nature of the service
SupportSwipe is a connection tool, not an employment service, recruitment agency, or screening service. We do not employ Support Workers, screen or verify qualifications or credentials, guarantee the accuracy of any Profile or Listing, guarantee any Match will result in a working relationship, or set or negotiate rates or terms of engagement. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between us and any user. SupportSwipe is free for all users — we do not charge booking fees, commissions, or subscription fees. The App is supported by in-app advertisements.
4. Account registration and security
You must register with a valid email address (verified via a 6-digit code) or by using Sign in with Apple, Continue with Google, or Continue with Facebook, then select your user type and accept these Terms — the same Terms apply however you register. Each individual may maintain only one Account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, logging out on shared devices, and notifying us immediately of unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Account for fraudulent use, credible misconduct reports, or provision of false information.
5. User obligations and conduct
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information in your Profile and Listings. You must not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or credentials, or post Listings for roles that do not exist. You must use the App in a professional and respectful manner — no harassment, abuse, threats, discrimination, spam, or illegal content. Provider Organisations are solely responsible for independently verifying a Worker’s credentials (including NDIS Worker Screening Checks and Working With Children Checks) before engaging them. Workers must only display credentials they genuinely hold and keep their Profile up to date. SupportSwipe is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NDIA or NDIS Commission.
6. Matching and communication
Support Workers swipe through nearby Listings. Provider Organisations swipe through nearby Worker Profiles. A Match occurs when both parties swipe right on each other, after which both parties can chat in-app. We do not guarantee any user will receive Matches, that Matches will lead to conversations, or that conversations will lead to work. You are solely responsible for your Chat messages. We may review messages where we receive a report of a breach of these Terms or suspect illegal activity. You must not include off-platform contact details in your public Profile — contact details may only be shared via Chat after a Match.
7. Ratings
After a work arrangement, Support Workers may rate the Provider Organisation. Ratings are voluntary, anonymised (the Provider cannot see which Worker submitted a particular rating), and displayed as an aggregate score. Ratings must be honest and based on genuine experience. They must not contain defamatory or offensive content. We reserve the right to remove ratings that violate these Terms. We do not mediate disputes about ratings.
8. Advertising (AdMob)
SupportSwipe is free because it is supported by in-app advertisements via Google AdMob. Ads will be displayed within the App interface. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and app interaction data for ad serving purposes. We have configured AdMob for non-personalised advertising — ads are not targeted based on your behaviour or interests. Advertisements do not constitute endorsement by us.
9. Reporting and blocking
You can report any user for inappropriate behaviour via the report function on their profile or chat, and block any user from the chat options menu. Blocked users cannot see your profile or contact you. Reports are private and reviewed by the SupportSwipe team within 48 hours; we may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts in response to credible reports.
10. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of all Content you submit to the App. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, store, display, and transmit your Content solely as necessary to provide the App. All intellectual property rights in the App — including the name "SupportSwipe," software, code, design, logos, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to With Light Pty Ltd.
11. Privacy and data
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at supportswipe.com.au/privacy. By using the App, you agree to the Privacy Policy. The App uses location data for nearby matching — you may disable location permissions in your device settings, but this will disable matching functionality.
12. Safety warnings
The App is provided "as is" without warranty. Credentials displayed on Worker Profiles are self-reported and unverified by us. If you arrange to meet another user in person, you do so entirely at your own risk. We encourage meeting in public places and informing someone you trust. Provider Organisations should conduct interviews in professional settings before engaging a Worker.
13. Limitation of liability
We facilitate connections but are not party to any relationship between users. We are not liable for disputes between users, misrepresentations by users, harm from in-person meetings, or failure to verify credentials. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to AUD $100. Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless With Light Pty Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any Applicable Law, your misrepresentation of credentials or identity, any dispute between you and another user, or any claim by a third party arising from your use of the App.
15. Termination
You may delete your Account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This is immediate and irreversible. We may terminate your Account immediately for material breach, fraudulent or illegal conduct, or credible reports of harassment or unsafe behaviour. Upon termination, your access ceases immediately. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy.
16. Dispute resolution
We are not a dispute resolution service for disputes between users. For disputes with us, both parties will attempt good faith negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, either party may refer the matter to mediation. If mediation fails, either party may commence proceedings. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
